Jens U. Boettcher

Born 1948 in Oldenburg, Lower Saxony, Germany;

Lived from 1953 - 1963 with his family as a landed immigrant in Canada;

After graduating from high school in Bad Godesberg in 1968, read law in Bonn (interrupted by military service) and Vancouver;

Profesional Experience and more:

-  1982 - 1984 legal adviser to the Moroccan government in Rabat and Casablanca; 

-  1985 - 1989 Head, International Department, German Sports Association,

-  1990 - 1995 Managing Director of the German Didacta Association and Didacta LL.C.

-  1995 - 2014 freelance fundraising consultant, (including:)

-  2006 - 2014 Founding Director of the Civic Engagement Forum at the University of Bremen.

Since then he has been able to give free rein to his writing pen as his driving force.

Father of four, lives in Lilienthal near Bremen - on the edge of "Teufelsmoor"

(i.e. Devil's Moor!).
