We are a young crew of old authors who publish their texts in self-publishing. Our experience has been that the literary business today is consistently geared towards young authors, who are built up by publishers in order to give them as many profitable bestsellers as possible for as long as possible (which of course we can no longer compete with). We still have a few interesting things to share with the world. We have therefore joined forces to form a publishing and marketing community in order to be able to draw better attention to our works together. We want to mercilessly play off our maturity and our life experience. Anyone who has interesting writing to offer, is about of pensionable age (or is in favor of us for other reasons) and would like to join us - go ahead, please get in touch. A word about our publisher's name: In the Anglo-Saxon world, an 'Old Salt' is an old sea dog who spins sailor's yarn. It fits - doesn't it?
